There are two ways to access electronic resources when off-campus or outside of the Olin network. The method you select is determined by which VPN client you have installed on your computer.
The vast majority of Olin community members will have the Pulse VPN client. If you have Pulse Secure, follow these instructions:
- Turn off your VPN
- Access the resource directly from the library website
- Log in to the page that opens using your Olin credentials (use your full email with @olin.edu at the end and your Olin network password)
- That's it! You should now have authenticated access to the resource.
If you have the older VPN client (primarily faculty), you should have seamless access to library resources one VPN is turned on.
Troubleshooting notes:
- Always provide screenshots of errors when submitting an issue to library@olin.edu
- Access databases from the A to Z List not from a bookmark.
