On the Cheap: Where to find interview attire, furniture, housewares, home décor, a used car, and more

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

Interview attire:

• PGP maintains a selection of professional attire for Oliners to use. The Expression Closet can be found at the end of the 3rd floor hallways in the Campus Center. If you like an item, keep it! Or, wash it and return it after use. 
• Thrift stores - you can find them in large cities and small towns across the country
• Consignment shops - these used clothing stores often have a selection of higher-end or professional items
• Your community - sometimes churches have 'tag sales' or the local community council hosts a thrift shop 

Furniture & home decor:

• Local recycling center "swap shop"
• Salvation Army or Goodwill Store
• Thrift Stores
• Other Oliners!

Used vehicle:

• Your local community Facebook page often has community members who are looking to unload a vehicle that is no longer being used. Join these pages and look for posts
• CraigsList or Facebook Marketplace (be ware of scams, follow safe buying guidelines)
• Your local used car dealer - often you can get a deal if you flex your negotiating skills
